DRIVE TO THE GOLF COURSE 'MONTENMEDIO'; GREAT AREA FOR (WIND)SURFING, HAS A SHARED SWIMMINGPOOL.

Most of the year Los Caños de Meca feels like a lovely, small, peaceful, scenic 'pueblo blanco'. In July and August Los Caños de Meca is famous and attractive for its exotic hippy-like and Moroccan ambience.

Casas Pepe are within 5 minutes walk from the large beaches on the Costa de la Luz and bars with live music and restaurants where you enjoy the typical Andalucian food; near Vejer de la Frontera, a 'pueblo blanco', classified as a world heritage monument by UNESCO, is a beautiful example of the long and rich cultural Andalucian past; and Barbate, a small fishing port, famous for its traditional tuna fishing: all this surrounded by national parks and on the main bird migration route between Africa and Europe. The area provides a wide range of rural activities, e.g. sight-seeing, walking and cycling tours, horse riding and bird watching. And Morocco is just across the water.
